I'll be honest, the whole reason I wanted to make this song was because I friggin love bass solos, and even though I used to practice on an old electric bass many many years ago, I never got to the point musically where I could really bust out a proper solo, even though I knew what I wanted it to sound like in my head. This track (inspired by Janey Springs and Athena the Gladiator from the Borderlands series) was meant to give me that badass bass solo I'd always wanted, using the idea of a greasemonkey moon lesbian and her shield-wielding Vault Hunter girlfriend as a - heh - vehicle for it!
